The first meeting of the Steering Committee of our project took place on the 15th of June, 2016. This initiating meeting held in the conference room of the Janów Lubelski Forest Inspectorate.
Background information and project’s degree of advancement were presented to the Committee Members. Furthermore the rules of work and communication have been established. Some comments and suggestions on the project implementation were made.
The meeting was initiated by Mrs. Beata Sielewicz, General Director of Regional Directorate of Environmental Protection in Lublin.
Acts of appointment for Committee Members (appointment contracts) have been presented. The comprehensive presentation of the project LIFE13 NAT/PL/000032 „In harmony with nature – LIFE+ for Janowskie Forests” became basis for discussion.
Members of the Committee unanimously adopted the content of the Committee Regulations.
The event was attended by the representatives of the following institutions and persons:
Regional Directorate of State Forests in Lublin, Janów Lubelski Forest Inspectorate, Gościeradów Forest Inspectorate, the Municipal Office of Janów Lubelski, representatives of Lublin academic community, Gallinaceous Conservation Committee, Board of the Lublin Landscape Parks, Regional Directorate of Environmental Protection in Rzeszów and Regional Director of Environmental Protection in Lublin with Manager of Department of Field Affairs IV in Janów Lubelski and the project’s staff.
